STROBOSCOPE is a light installation that plays with the spatial perception of its audience through an intense and precisely choreographed ballet of volumetric lights. A tribute to raves and free parties that peaked in the early 2000s, STROBOSCOPE takes the form of a matrix of high-intensity spotlights suspended overhead, shaping a luminous space in constant flux. Here, music is translated into a choreography of light, giving sonic frequencies an almost tangible presence and visually radiating their energy throughout the entire space.
Rooted in the culture and aesthetic of electronic music, STROBOSCOPE unfolds across three chapters, serving as a powerful prelude to the Clubbing exhibition. Within moments, dozens of visitors are immersed - individually and collectively - in a festive atmosphere, animated by a dynamic play of light and form, oscillating between minimalism and sophistication. The installation relies on a grid of projectors to evoke a visual and sonic architecture that is at once stripped-down and vibrant, firmly embedded in the legacy of club culture.
